Gone in 60 Seconds is an amazing movie. The only reason I like The Fast and The Furious is because of the cars are pretty cool. The plot sucks as does everything thing else except the cars. But you all already know that.

I know this isn't a movie, but my favorite has always been Speed Racer

Speed Racer, Getaway in Stockholm, Getaway in Stockholm 2, Gone in 60 Seconds, and even though I don't think the Fast and Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious are good movies, you can't deny the effect they've had on tuning and the aftermarket industry.

Werd, in all honesty I wouldn't be here on these boards w/ a WRX if I didn't see that movie. I didn't even know what NOS was before it haha. At first I believed every part, then I started reading up on stuff and everything they said in the movie and did mostly is BS.

Rendezvous

I'm surprised no one mentioned Rendezvous. A guy mounted a camera on the front of a Ferrari and drove through downtown Paris at breakneck speed. Although apparently no one was hurt, you can see near-misses with other cars and pedestrians diving out of the way. It was filmed totally illegally. Only 9 minutes long I think:

I saw on the internet a video of some crazy mofo that drove his crotch rocket 150+ MPH through motorway traffic, like they were standing still. That was also about 6 minutes long. Any mistake on his part or an unexpected move on one of the cars' carts, he would have been hamburger. Amazingly, that was also in Paris:

Insane!

Do non-racing movies count? I enjoyed The Italian Job, The Transporter, and the BMW short films.

got the BMW-shorties for my dad on DVD last christmas. Who would have thought that a year later he'd buy an M5 and have it tuned in Florida by Dinan?

"I hear Buschur Racing does WRX UTECs now ... oh buddy!"
