WRX or Volvo C30

I have been looking at getting a new car... I currently have 02 WRX wagon with 104000 miles and kind of want something new. I am liking the Volvo C30, same 220 HP (but no AWD, which is nice in the snow) but has front wheel which would work too.

Just asking what others think.

Well, since Volvo is going away from performance (re: death of the R models) I would stick with the WRX, IF that is the only two choices. The Volkswagon R32 is nice (not near as quick though), especially for a highway cruiser.

But if Volvo would put thier AWD system in the C-30 and go back to the R (C-30 R AWD!?!) that would be pretty sweet... Volvo safety, reliability, with a nice sporty package.

Volvo makes a great car, I was checking those out when I got my new WRX. I wouldn't buy one myself, but you have to do what you like. You have to drive it and pay for it.

I would just tell you to get a newer WRX, once you sell it, you'll campare all cars to it, and that kind of gives them some pretty sizeable comp to stand up to.

I'd hate for you to be dissapointed, and stuck with a carpayment on a car you can't stand.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I like Volvo personally... I have a S60 T5R.. Nice car. Handles well for a large sedan. AWD is good, but not as good as Subaru or Audi.

Been looking buy the time I get the Volvo the way I would like it the price jumps to around $30000. For that money I'm going to be looking at an 08 STI. I'm glad it is a wagon. Bad ass sports car that I can still put my dogs in the back.
