What really grinds my gears!

Ok, you all know that I live on a super long windy mountain roads and a few of you have driven my road.

Well what really GRINDS MY GEARS!
Is when I get onto my favorite part of the road that you can really haul ass and have a little fun on my daily commute to work, and you get around the curve and there are, not one, Not Two, NOT Three, BUT FOUR PRIUS in my lane doing 15 on a 45mp curve and the speed limit is 55!!!

Then you have a younge 16yr old teenager in their daddy's truck flashing their high beams at you hoping they see him when only its only GRINDING MY GEARS MORE.

Have fun venting and see what funny stories we get out of this!!

What really gets me going is if I'm in the high way in the fast Kane just cruising 70-80 and a guy tried to cut in front of me by passing in te right line and if there's a car farther ahead in the right line ill speed up so he can't get in front of me. Kind of a dick move but pisses me off when were doing way above the speed limit and you wanna pass me or when people know a lane ends ahead and they have to merge into y lane so they gun it just to get in front
Of me again ill keep them from getting in front of me.

Bad shifting. Bad shifting grinds my gears. !Notfunny!

What really grinds my gears is that I cannot enjoy a nice cruise without having two-three Hondas reving up on me wanting a race. I thought all that had died off. I guess it still exists in SoCal

What really grinds my gears.... bloomberg! (till this day I wish death upon all these ppl) I tried going around a person cause the a-hole was going 45 while im late for work so once I speed up to go around the bastard speeds up too. so I decided f*** that im going in front... soon as I accelerate and im ready to cut infront. cops pulled me over slapped me wit an 8 pt ticket speeding 31+ (300 dollar fine plus 50 dollars for each point up to 6... points over 6 are a 75 dollars each).... mind you 11 points ## license gets suspended... 2 weeks later I get a ticket for not going left on a turn left lane 2pts :'( ive been sitting on 10points for almost a yr. Cant even scratch my nuts while driving could cause me to lose my license. Atleast I only have a month left before these points go away...

WTF ...just ...how? How could anyone suck that bad? (oh... and assuming it wasn't from your driving lol)

Ya I can't even make a list. Driving in Long Island is just full retard mode. I've driven all over the US and I've never seen driving like in Nassau county (L.A or D.C would be comparable). Insanely ultra-aggressive everywhere you go around. And after awhile you just start driving like everyone else. Most people work in NYC so half the cars on the road are BMW 5 series or some other $60k + car. A few days ago some older lady in Lexus LS460 didn't like that I passed her, so she flies around me on a double yellow, swerves back in so quick she almost lost control.... and there's a traffic light 1/8 a mile ahead. :tease: The nice thing is that a WRX certainly doesn't stand out to thieves, some guy a few bldgs down keeps a Maserati parked in the street.

I almost was in an accident yesterday thanks to a minivan... driving side by side going 20 like a block ahead theres a red light. my friend in the car with me yells stop half way to the light. the minivan was trying change into my lane almost slamming right into the passenger side front fender luckily I braked so quick just avoided that mess by half a foot. During the situation I tried hitting the horn so quick with my steering hand:rolleyes: that I hit every audio control button but no horn... thats when I discovered I culd listen to the music on my phone thru bluetooth

Be like me, why need a horn when you have bass, I never had anyone not see me when I was in my small camaro because of my bass but I've had more people almost hit me in my forester because no bass haha go figure, you piss someone off enough with your music they will make sure to know where your car is at HAHAHAHAHA

In traffic jams on the expressway, I give a car length (which is plenty close) and am judging the speed of the 4 or 5 cars ahead of me (in each lane) so that I can maintain a steady crawl even while the others are riding each others' a$$es, starting and stopping in 20 foot increments. Well, there are people who get visibly upset when I don't ride the bumper of the person in front of me, stopping and starting and stopping and starting like everyone else. So much so that they try to ride my a$$ to get me to go 3-5 mph faster. This is the point when I like to slow down just a tad more, opening up the gap in front of me. The grade A idiots will try to swing out into the next lane, gun it (in traffic) and try to show me that they are faster. The best part is when they have to stop and I crawl right past them, leaving them further behind than if they had just stayed where they were behind me and followed.

Before I came to Korea (5 years ago), a significant amount of drivers in LA had started to learn that staying in one's own lane and teaming up with the cars in front can result in getting through traffic quicker. However, I am dealing with tempers from just about everyone except commercial truckers on the Korea expressways. It really is funny to see just how shortsighted people are.

What grinds my gears is that I have to share the road with people who can't be bothered to look beyond their own hood ornament.

When you're trying to sell something and someone tells you they are going to be there at 4, then don't show up, after you have waited for 30 minutes. Then you send them a message and they tell you oh I got hung up running some errands, thanks for the b.s. Yea and I'm still waiting buddy. People can be so inconsiderate. You couldn't let me know you were running late or just not coming. I don't care if you're not coming, that's fine. Just let me know so I'm not standing around twittering my thumbs. I have other things I could do. Is it really that hard to send a text, with all of today's technology, come on! One of the biggest reasons I dred selling a car. Hopefully someone buys it soon so I can be done with it.
