I like the movie quot thread idea I would probably not guess any though, since all I get to watch is SpongeBob Finally got my parts in the mail and replaced my axle boot at work lastnight. Put it in when I got home and realized I forgot to bring home my 32mm socket for the axle nut Oh well, the rest will be easy tomorrow morning. Now this guy is going to bed!

Mine is a Beltronics 996. It was like $300 at Best Buy. Certainly not the best brand/model but anything over $300 just doesn't seem justifiable, and anything under that prob isn't worth it IMO. Mine has saved mine countless times and for basically the cost of just ONE speeding ticket I think it's well worth having.

Mr. Radar would be the one to get. Not sure on price, but that make great coffee makers...

In other news I got started on the head porting and realized I had no bits, so I had to order another porting kit...seriously no auto parts store around here has one !!! I also have another surprise that I will post up after a bit...

Where do you get your porting supplies? I can never find them local unless its on one of the tool trucks. Summit racing usually has pretty good deals. I got my carbide bits from the matco dealer. A little pricey but, nice set. Do we get pics with the "surprise"?

NICE Keith!! I wish I had the time/knowledge to do a build like that. Internals is something I've never got to do hands on. Had work done to my Z but def couldn't have done it myself...although I'd love to.

Agreed! It would be awesome to do stuff like that yourself. You would know for sure it was done right.

Keep in mind I worked in my dad's shop for many years doing this type of work...Takes time and patience to do it right, but the first time you hear a motor you built roar to life it's like having sex for the first time only with less STD's...lol Still have the urge to drop a 1.6L custom crank in this and see what it does, but I might even do something unheard of.........................REBUILD IT TO A STOCK 2.5L...HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Doubtful that will happen though, I can't stand 2.5L motors stock something about them just bothers me, kind of like getting my hair pulled at the barber shop...just bothers me...

Over the years I have built a number of engines and worked on just about every kind of car, other than exotics, but even with that being the case I still do things the same way my father and grandfather taught me even though it is very time consuming....

That's great dude. I will keep that in mind when I'm ready for a build. What are your rates, lol? It may take longer but it is probably correct the first time and there aren't any issues afterwards like some of the horror stories we hear about shops and the crapy jobs they do.

Oh the possibilities! Great score, and nice to have the luxury of time to work on a performance build while you still have a operating vehicle.

I'd like to see you put a forged 75mm crank in it an build it with lightweight internals for an 8,000rpm redline 2.2+L motor.
