Got a new windshield installed at safelite. Damn stone chip cracked the windshield 3 seconds after it was chipped.

There is a plastic layer inside the glass. It's sandwiched in between two panes of glass. So, no air was getting through. Just didn't want it to crack more than the 6" it already was.

Had a HD bushing kit and 22mm rear anti-sway bar installed. Here's what it looked like:

Dissassembly

Front control arms and rear trailing arms sent to a machine shop to have the bushings pressed out/replaced

Rear lower trailing arm bushing installed (red)

Rear Whiteline 22mm adjustable anti-sway bar installed

Front OEM anti-sway bar bushing

Front control arm and OEM anti-sway bar bushings installed

and rear trailing arm bushings installed

Handling feels awesome now; agile and neutral with better turn it. Love it!

Have you driven it yet since the install? How does it feel, a lot different?

Andy,
It feels more agile and neutral immediately. There's a little more road noise too, and the steering has better road feel. All these things are subtle improvements.

I've picked up a slight squeak too in the back, over some bumps, but you have to look for it to catch it, it's that slight.

Friday I get another performance alignment, just to be sure.

Thank you, I'm hoping next summer to do the sway bars and end links. I like the sound of what you're telling me.

Today I washed a cleaned out the interior on my WRX.

I know the interior will be just as bad in a week from all the salt, but i try to clean it out weekly to neutralize the salt that is on the carpets and plastics inside the car.

Also ordered a new pressure washer, steam cleaner, FLEX buffer, a bunch of tools and detailing products, and A Foam Cannon for my detailing side job during the summer.

pictures to come

Did really nothing but took my Wrx to my Dads shop so i can put it up on the lift. i hit a curb the other day pulling into a gas station and now i was getting a loud popping sound when i turned left. the sound may be gone now but time will tell. only thing we found was the axle nut was kinda loose.also got my Power steering fluid flushed and changed for free while i was there. and adjusted my passenger side headlight as it was pointed to high.then got bad news that my Batteries amps are low and i may also need a new starter. with all this and i only have my car for 3 more days till i get shipped to the east coast for a month for a school sucks ass.
