What did you do to your car today

ok, so I know theres a thread like this over on nabisco and I figured we needed one since we are a more tight knit family. I searched and could not find any other threads similar so forgive me if theres one already out there.

Since I wont be able to buy wheels and tires until Janurary and might not even be able to do it then because of my stupid garage roof that needs replaced, I plasti dipped my wheels today. i was just tired of the norm and wanted something different. plus, its totally reversible if i ever decide I dont like it. Ill try to get pix up.

Nice dude I like the black with the wrb. Looks good! See you're getting the family involved at a young age as well

How long did that take to do?

Thanks! It took me a whole day. Not really that labor intensive, just time consuming. First I put the car on jackstands and washed/cleaned the hell out of the wheels. The time consuming part was plasti dipping. I put a coat on and then came back 30 minutes later for another one. did this for about 5-6 coats front and back. Used about a can per wheel.

^ how is it holding up? I think mine is going to hold up fine. The only worry I have is around the lugs where I will be taking them on and off. A lot of possibility for rubbing friction to peel it off.

It's still looking good. Very easy to touch up though if something happens.

I bought a extra set to delete when i did mine so i would not have any downtime. These are my originals. Oh yeah i forgot i also did a pull to datalog lastnight just to make sure everything is still kosher, and it is. I was also on the clock while i was doing all this. Love Saturday nights at my work!

I fixed a CEL on my car today....woohoo...Oh and disassembled a pair of 2L WRX heads and getting ready to have them tanked and cleaned for reassembly with a nice set of GSC cams and springs...I will admit that reassembly is a PITA on these heads....
