So I've seen this bad Larry floating around the Internet for a few weeks, but I can't seem to figure out what it is. I can tell its a subie, but what engine setup are they running? It almost seems to be a twin turbo setup with a supercharger on the right hand side?

That's what we here in Internet Land call a photoshop.

Haw1es 05-02-2013 01:22 PM

Really? That makes me sad. That looks like it would have been epic.
Even with photoshop, any idea what engine that is?

looks like a 2jz and thats not a supercharger on the right. its the intake.

Haw1es 05-02-2013 06:35 PM

Thanks boo-key! I wasn't sure what that was in the right hand side.
Could a 2jz swap be done on a wrx?

 Well, to say "no" would not necessarily be appropriate, given how your question was worded.

I thought it was a Prius

Haw1es 05-03-2013 10:04 AM

Haha sleepr, I know anything can be done with enough time and money. But would it actually work better than modifying the beautiful boxer engine it came with?

Not feasible unless one wants to spend years doing fabrication and structural modification in my opinion. It would be an amazing feat though...

pzr2874 05-03-2013 08:08 PM

It's been done IIRC.... but why?

The H6 would make more sense....
