you have to wave at the other WRX owners. I consider it rude if i dont get a wave. When i lived in florida i tried to wave at a guy driving a 04-05 red WRX, and the bastard actually looked the other way and would not look back at me!

I gave him a generous amout of revving and then waved one more time as i took off.

i have always waved even if they dont wave back... Tennessee, or in my region is not a popular place for WRXs. to be honest Subaru owners are dissed here for owning a subaru. I think thats why im one of the very few left in this city. I only personally know two other WRX/STi owners in town.

Same in my town. There are only a handfull of Subaru's here. There's only like 2 WRX's i know of so far that live in the city, a few others come into town to hang out and stuff. Including an old GC Impreza 2.5rs with a 2.0 swap turbo... Supposedly this guy is throwing down over 400whp when he ups the boost and runs of race gas...

It's also the same with my VW's... The only worthy one's i've seen in town are a yellow mk3 golf, MINE and a 04 Golf R32 (Audi TT motor and AWD, putting down 260hp); That R32 is WRX competition...

over here in SOCAL if your driving on the freeway you'll see a subaru about every hour. If i come up to another wrx i usually press in my clutch and rev it so they hear my bov. then ill throw a peace sign. on the street its different, i dont see that many. ill get a wave here and there from other wrx's.

Is it bad that I've found myself waving at ALL Subarus I see lately? Even the 90's Outback wagons with the 85 year old driving it.

I have this problem. I drove by a 99-01 RS coupe the other day and scared the crap out of the guy as I tried to say HI. He looked at me like I was crazy and I left him alone I also have some surprise when SVX drivers don't want to exchange a wave with me.

I can't do that around here. Every 5-10 cars, there's at least one Subaru in the mix. Hills + snow = lots of Subarus
