Being an owner of a wrangler and a WRX I get to wave at tons of people. Most all wave back.
Except the blue hairs, they don't even realize what's going on when i stick my hand out the window. Oh well. Just keep on waving and keep the spirit alive.

when i drove my '04 2.5rs i would give a wave and possibly a thumbs up to anyone driving a wrx. occasionally they'd wave back. now that i have my '06 wrx the situation has changed. i'm now a part of the group i had wanted to be in for so long. wrx's will see me and wave. the other day i pulled up behind a black '06 at a traffic light and the dude waved to me. then i pulled along side and we had a friendly discussion about mods. and we didn't have to try to race. we just nodded and drove off.

it's a nice group to be a part of.

I wave everyone usually waves back as long as they are paying attention to the road. Get waves from sti's, wrx's, wagon wrx's and pretty girls in rex's its a great CULT.

When I first bought my STi, i went to the sooby dealer to get a key cut and when i was leaving i stopped at a red light and a white STi with a FMIC was on the other side. as we passed we both waved... we had a moment hahaha, i felt accepted and it was cool... then i found 5 dollars!

oh yeah, is it ok to wave at EVO drivers or is that considered blasphemy? im not sure what my reaction should be if i pass one and the driver waves at me.

Waver

I always wave or honk at other subys. I remember when i got my car, pulling out of the dealership parking lot, a blue bug eye pulled up next to me an just said welcome to the family. I try to keep the gratitude going!

i gotta bring this thread back to life b/c im just curious, when i had my 03 wrx i used to get a wave from all subies, including stis. now that i have an sti i always initiate the wave and hardly anybody waves back, there are a few that still wave but not near as many. im just curious if it's b/c i drive an sti and they see me as "one of them." i love all subies and will wave at the 2.5i's also. . are there any subie drivers in here that dont wave back at sti's on purpose.

Haha this thread is great. I was having a bit of fun yesterday morning with a silver sti on the highway but never got any kind of wave. I also saw a black rex driving home from work and waved but I got nothing back. I wave to all subies, I even got one from a guy in a forester and I waved right back. I hate initiating the wave and then not getting one back.

I was talking to my wife yesterday, and she just started working at a different Starbucks store. Two guys that work there, one drives 2.5I and the other a legacy gt, they both said they do the wave, and my wife waves to the subies when she is driving her xB. She doesnt get many back, but I got a few when I was back in the states.
