Man, those look grippy and beefy on the tread. That's the exact tire I was looking to get for winter too. Nice...I think i'm sold.

Mosc the headunit looks great. Which one is it and how do you like it? And nice new pic for the avatar. I like that view of the car.

I linked to the head unit earlier in the thread. It's a Pioneer FT-700BT. It's a GPS unit with a 6" touch screen. Doesn't play DVDs (movies can be played off of SD though) but it does have a CD slot as well as an SD slot. It acts like a bluetooth headset for your phone, and has voice control for most of the functions (like Microsoft sync). Has an ipod connection too but I didn't buy that since I'm not an ipod faithful. I was planning on hooking up a HD to the usb port instead of the ipod but the SD slot is plenty. SD cards are pretty cheap...

I like it a lot. The biggest complaint is that it takes a while to start up. If you have a CD in there, it can play that in a second or two but if you're waiting for it to load up enough to play your SD card, it's about 45 seconds. This is similarly annoying when you want to plot a new destination in (which you do with the brake on) and you are sitting in your driveway waiting for it to load so you can get going. The turn by turn directions are also humorous as there must be 10 warnings for each turn that's more than 2 miles away. (In 1 mile, turn right. In 1/2 mile, turn right. In 1000 feet, turn right. In 500 feet, turn right. Turn right). It does pause the music though to talk which is great because then you hear it. It's not great that it happens every 2 seconds however They came out with a great firmware update for it back in July, I'm hoping they keep up with the support. It's a great product.

I went back and got the link. Thanks for the personal experience about the headunit. I appreciate it. By chance are those side skirts similar to the 07. I havent seen many 06 or 07 with skirts like mine, but thats how it came (with 9 miles on it, so noone put them on).

no, the 04-05 STi's have a more "JDM" type of look to them. They're not the same as later years
