Total Murphy's Law Day (and serious question)

Ok...let me start this off this is a complete rant on today...first off today was the end of my thanksgiving break so I go out to my WRX this morning to pack up for my trip back to school and I notice my hood was slightly opened after I raised it I noticed some jack*** kid stole my BOV and Intake and some little odds and ends rendering the car useless and stuck in Miami (I go to school in Daytona about 265 miles away) and my daily driver is back up at school...so I go and borrow my little brother's Mustang GT convertible and while I'm driving up the top flies open and I pull off the highway and raise it to learn the back glass busted out...and on top of that the mustang has no heater and its about 55 degrees F down here for no reason...so I was stuck driving 150 miles with the top down and no heat...and then when i reach back to school I notice that I left some crucial things back home...I guess this is the end to my rant...

But on a serious note does anyone have a spare BOV or upgraded BPV there willing to sell me as I need one to get my car back on the road and I just put the stock intake back on cus money is kinda tight as a broke college student

Matt, are you looking for local parts, or anything do? Did they also get your BPV elbow, or just the actual BPV?

airplnmdls: the stuff had to be taken from the car that night cus I brought the car to a local meet that night.

Josh: I'm not sure if they got the elbow or not lol you can't really see it under the APS TMIC and I didn't have the time to take it apart...but from the looks of it they only got my APS 50/50...although I noticed the T-Bolt clamps to my TMIC and the clamp to the turbo outlet had been loosened so I suspect they tried to take the intercooler aswell they were just to stupid to realize how to get it off...and to answer your first question it doesn't matter if the parts are local seeing as I still have to drive to South Florida to install them

So was your car unlocked for them to get the hood open or did they pry?

I'm assuming they picked the lock...my factory alarm has been disabled due to the turbo timer and I always lock my car

That sucks... I'm glad I haven't had any issues like that. Hopefully the kid got hit by a bus (and he probably will because I just put a hex on him). You can thank me later

I have a feeling I know who it is...apparently theres been alot of thefts in my parents neighbourhood in Biscayne and it has to be someone that lives in the neighbourhood or knows some one that lives here because of the gate

Matt I have my stock BPV and I have the Perrin BPV also. Im installing my Cobb one here very shortly. I wont need the stock elbow with the Cobb setup. The stock BPV is in great condition, no marks or anything in it. The Perrin unit works, but is scratched on the top (all cosmetic), but the issue with it is that the internal screw to adjust the pressure stripped out some how. So my remedy for it was to cross-thread it in there to get it to work. I havent had any issues with it, but if you are interested in either of them feel free to PM me and we can talk.
