Well, after 31K miles and NO clutch dumps, no hard shifting, but a little more power to the wheels.... The 07 tranny is GONE. Should have listened to EVERYBODY and just got the STi in the beginning..... Well, this is an apology for not believing you. Will find out today if it's covered under warranty.... And off to get my STi after I strip the Rex. I'm pissed to no end..... POS trannys.


BTW... Shortly coming is a back to stock sale.... MANY parts I haven't even put on..... Imagine THAT.

Your profile lists all your mods as "2 many", did you have a lot of WHP mods? What exactly happened to your transmission?

Dang, Paul, sorry to hear about your car. Im still not giving up on mine yet.Hopefully within the year my car will be fully built. I know, no STI, but still my baby. Please keep us posted with everything.

As for "power" mods... I would say, LW crank pulley, Perrin CAI (tuned), Stage 2 AP Street tuned pretty much with an intake manifold PnPnC, phenolic spacers, 18lbs of boost tapering down to 13.... yada,yada,yada.....

I have on the back burner for install a evo3, 830cc injectors, 3port bcs, NSC plugs, PD up pipe coated.

235-240 to the wheels is what i read (from what I can remember) on the tuner software when I had it tuned.

Josh, I wouldn't put the 20g on till you are ready to mess w/the gearset....

Mosc, can I put a "4sale" thread up ???

I have everything set up for an engine/transmission build. Its about 8 months out. Im going to get a very conservative tune done on the car and baby it. I have seen some guys with more power and no trouble, but you definetly got me concerned now.

I sat and rev'd to 2500-3000 and gently rode the clutch.... Once it grabbed, I gunned it and when I shifted to 2nd.... I got the big kahuna...... 2nd gear GONE.

Why not hang onto your mods for when you get the STi? Alot of the mods will transfer over. That is what I did.

Going to hold onto the 3port, pulley, AP, DP and a couple others. The rest is going. Sad to say even the EVO3. Nice charger btw. Got it ported, polished, coated and everything

Waiting for Mosc to chime in on the list.

Keep the injectors. When I got my stage 2 tune I maxxed the stockers out very easily.
