This is kinda funny how I found this.
I was eating with the fam. at Quakersteak and was looking around at all the stuff they have going on in there and seen a old truck up on a lift next to us, I was thinking wow that would be cool to have one in a home garage then I saw the factory sticker on the lift and got here Backyard Buddy.
Doesn't seem to be to expensive to have the luxury of having a lift instead of crawling under your car. Not a top of the line lift but sure as hell beats laying on the ground!
Yeah was thinking about the transport if I bought one. Probably have to go to UPS and pick it up. That $hit doesnt look to light.
Never actually looked around for car lifts so I was really surprised to see cheaper types other than a typical garage lift.
You can buy lifts for cheap. ~$1,500. It's just a matter of transport and installation...
If I was going to spend any dough on a lift, and have a good slab to install it on (with height clearance) , I would shop for a used two pillar with arms (professional style) Dealerships and shops upgrade frequently, and they can found used for $1-2k. Not that difficult to erect either, but you'll need correct voltage supply present and access to the right tools to install. Just my $.02
