Sometimes, I seriously dislike cops...

My driving record for the past 4 or 5 yars has been clean. In the past two months I've gotten two tickets! And since I have a CDL in Texas there is nothing you can do to dismiss the tickets, you just gotta pay. So not only am I out another $150 from the ticket I got today [the other was $180], my insurance is going to sky rocket. AUGH!

This's is just an advance warning to everyone that might reply to this thread, no cop bashing. That will get this thread locked up quick. Please don't do it.

As for being stopped by the man, that sucks bro. Isn't it still 75 there? I used to love driving through Texas just for that fact alone. Set the cruise to 80 and roll. Well, on the interstate at least.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I'm being careful not to bash cops, for the most part they are pretty friendly, but this guy was a jerk.
the speed limit is 70 [65 at night], and I had the cruise set just below 80.
i think he was out there generating some revenue for his county

I'm sure of it. That's the unfortunate part about most traffic stops. I'm not saying that all of them aren't safety related, but most of it's a money thing.

I know they also have to have a certain amount of "contacts" per hour. Damn the man.

That sux! Maybe you shouldn't drive so fast? Haha, I know what a ridulous statement/question. I have troubles keeping it below 80 too. I luckily still have a perfect driving record. :P

Also from the Katy Texas area I realize the cops are very harsh around where I live, you just gotta know where you can and can't speed. under 80 in a 70???? that is really lame. I know im investing in a radar.

Got a ticket for 5 over on the freeway today. Pulled me out of a group of cars that were all doing around 70 my buddy looks up and goes "piggy" so I slow down to like 60 and he waves at me to pull over. Thanks WSP!

Here in Ontario, they passed a new law with regards to exhaust. Flow through exhausts are now completely illegal... Totally sucks..... So all in Ontario be careful...
I got pulled yesterday for making an "illegal lane change" and got a warning for It... I know the guy and he'd give his own mother a ticket for looking at him funny
