It depends on what the thread measures on the other tires. Should be with in 1-2/32 I'm pretty sure

Thanks hawk_eye! I know the current tires have almost 40,000 miles on them so I'm probably better off selling my kidney and getting all 4 replaced.

Haha what size rim you running? If you could manage to fit 235/40/17 on your current rims pep boys ( yes pep boys )has hankooks on sale I think I picked my four tires up for 65 a piece brand new. And I love them. A little noisy but I can deal with noise for under 260 for 4 tires.

65 a tire! That's fantastic! I wish I had a pep boys up near me. I may try to see if I can go smaller and get them mounted, all the places near me get weird about mounting non oem size tires.

Going to a wider tire on a stock wheel WITH the springs would only enhance the wear that's already occurring. Def dont go wider! Get yourself 4 sneakers (OE size) and an alignment. That's about the best you can do.

So are you running OE wheels?
What kind of springs?

Cause those dont look like an OE tire. What's the size on that blown out tire? They could've already been a wider than OE size which got you into this current problem.

And on an AWD you have to remain withing 2/32nds yes, so unfortunately that kidney's gonna have to go lol!

What size are your rims 17x7.5 or 17x7?

Rims are 17x7, ill have to look at the tires tonight, but they are the stock 225 width on oe wheels. I wasn't able to see the brand of the springs when the tire was off, when I bought the car the dealer tried to tell me it wasn't lowered. My wife called them on that one, best look ever on the salesman's face when she called him out on it haha. If I can find a buyer, that kidneys gone lol, 50k would do wonders for my car 😃

Whatever springs you have they've gotta be something very aggressive if an OE tire size on an OE wheel is rubbing. You sure they were rubbing? By the pic it just looks like "toe in" damage on the outside shoulder. It doesn't show any "marring" like its struck the fender well.

And please, I'm begging you don't buy tires that cost $65 a piece...or anything even close to that. That's a 20k tire (if that) and only going to accelerate the wear you're already experiencing.

IMO get yourself a quality tire (if you'd like recommendations in a reasonable price range PM me) and an alignment. Stay consistent with measuring both the inside and outside shoulders afterwards to see if the alignment fixed the wear problem. If your outside shoulder starts showing the same wear you've got bigger problems and that'll be another thread for another time lol!
