Sell or not too sell?

So I am debating selling my 06 subi due to the fact that I'm leaving in August for deployment for 6 months and am thinking about selling it to save on insurance and car payments. But I love this car but want to upgrade using all the money I'll be saving for 6 months. HELP!!!!

It's NA right?

I'd say return it to stock and sell it (gives time to sell it outright on your own) and then look for the WRX/STi you were wanting in the beginning.

Orrrr ... Sell it when you come back and use the cash you saved towards a WRX/STi.

Personally I think a STi is pointless to have in Hawaii.... But who am I ? LOL

I agree with the troll.... Haha
I agree that you would deffinatly be able to save the few more dollars it would take to get a wrx.

Man Hawaii has some bad ass roads out here on Oahu man. Up by north shore a little ways late at night is fun shhh and wekfest was just out here. There are more sti's out here than one would think. But most people but as a status car and don't do anything with them lol.

If you are a soldier, you can call your insurance and drop the rate until you get back. But there is nothing you can do about your payment. Trust me I know, have had my WRX for a deployment total of 27 months.

If its only 6 months id say just keep it IMO. U already have a depreciating assest, a car, so just pay it down. I mean 6 months isnt nothing in the long scheme of things and plus u wont be spending any money while your over there. You would have to make the payment if you were still here so id say pay it and youll have a nice smile on your face once you return to your baby. But then again, you could come home n buy a brand new baby lol

when i was deployed i had my insurance at some crazy low rate because i had it parked in a garage. also i was able to get my interest rate dropped to a low interest rate because of the deployment. All i had to do was fill out some app for them and send them a copy of my orders. but i guess that depends if who ever financed you honored that. i guess it can't hurt to look into it.
