All '03s have BA gears, which are RA width.

I've been cleaning the house all day and the mixture of cleansers as caused me some odd mind numbing quirks...lol I'm not much of a trans guy I know enough, but it sucks having to put one in by yourself.

I'm using Valvoline gear oil for break in. Didn't wanna use expensive stuff only to have to drain it in a month or so. Also seems my strut on the drivers side has gone bad...

So what trans did you end up putting in? If it's one of the 08+'s then yes the gearing is a bit shorter, and it has a lot shorter final drive if you got the rear end to match.

Glad to see it's back up and running though, time for some 11's!

Keith...why are you cleaning the house on your birthday? Are you running stock gears or the LGT gears?

08 lgt gear set with the kit to use them in a 03 trans. I can say that i notice a quicker response in all the gears. I was cleaning the house on my birthday because we are going out of town this weekend and my mom is staying at the house to watch our dogs....lol
