rex + snow = FUN

ok, so I got my wrx about 2 weeks ago... I live in maine, and there hadn't been any snow in awhile and I was really hoping for no more til next winter, but tonight... tonight we got like 3 inches on the roads for the drive home after work... as most of you guys seem to be from the south, let me tell you that the car makes you feel like a WRC driver the instant you take off... power sliding around turns... the front wheels pulling your forward while the rear swings around...FUN now that is definetly the beauty of AWD hopefully you guys all get the chance to play some day too

We just got some snow here in PA. I was out having some fun in it!!! I love how the ass end kicks out and you just counter steer a little and your going in a straight line again.

Yeah earlier in the winter when we got our snowfall I went out to a big parking lot and started playing around. Half the lot was empty. This dude in a pickup leaving one of the few open stores saw me and started doing doughnuts too. It was a blast. Wide open space with no obstructions just in case.

Man a small lightweight fwd car like the Focus should get thru the snow just fine.

My first car 1985 Toyota Tercel was excellent in the snow. granted it was much lighter and had no power (I think the 1.5L was rated for 62 hp!)
