Re-joining the Subie team

Hello everyone, it's been years since i've been on this forum but i'm planning on buying a STI in the fall. Long story short:

Bought a new '09 WRX - Upgraded to Stage 2 kit/tune with additional performance suspension/drivetrain upgrades - Sold it to save up money for cross country move - Once i moved bought a '06 Mazda RX8 Shinka Edition - Became bored with the Mazda and started missing the WRX more and more.

I loved the car and had a blast working on it and driving it even though it wasn't the most attractive car to look at. haha

So the plan is to pay off the RX8 in October and by a STI- possibly a new 2015. We'll see though. I always loved this forum when i was studying up on my WRX and reading all the reviews/troubleshooting/trolling from everyone.

Anyways, i'm excited. Can't wait to have a Subaru again.

Look forward to seeing which way you go man. Welcome back. Can't blame ya for tiring of the Mazda fast lol! I've driven a couple and wasn't really impressed either. And their certainly not the prettiest thing like you said lol!

They are when set up correctly. Don't get me wrong, I just don't think they are ready like the Suby platforms. This DI is a nightmare.

Thanks fellas!!

Just saw the pricing for the new 2015, very promising. So the WR blue is still going to be available in the base model Sti right?

Before i bought my Sti i kind of assumed i would be tuning it, but now that i've driven it for a couple days i'm not so sure. It's so much better off the lot than the '09 WRX i owned that i'm actually thinking of leaving it stock. I know what you're thinking but don't hate, haha.

"Ah, yes. A Subaru, much like your previous one. By now you must know that your previous Subaru could never be turned from the Dark Side. So will it be with your STI."
