Quick Update

I apologize guys for not being on so much any more. Right now I'm juggling 3 jobs atm and the contract for the 3rd one should end in September. Hopefully I'll have more time after that. Car has done nothing except be a daily driver for a while until recently which included a small system which consisted of a 4channel amp, component speakers in the front and cramming 6.5" speakers in the back doors (one of my jobs is an installer at best buy). Just this past weekend I had her retuned by Nate at TPGTuning.

All I have to say is that finding a GOOD tuner is worth its weight in gold. It's like having a whole new vehicle. For those of you that didn't know, I've struggled with my past tune on random quirks that we could never get out of the system, knocking, boost cut, and whatnot, although I did dyno at 320whp and 270wtq on a dynapak.

Well, Nate removed the UTEC, and went open source on my car. No change of mods and he pulled out 314whp and 290wtq on a dynajet. Big big improvement keeping in mind a dynapak is measured at the hubs and dynajet at the wheels. The car drives like stock other then the fact it has a stupid amount of power, no more quirks, and pulls so much harder it's actually quite scary and is going to take a little bit to get used to. I'll post the dyno plots as soon as he emails them to me.

Hope all is going well; I will try to check in as much as I can in the evenings.

Jon

Jon great to hear that you are still out there. And even better to hear about the car. I know exactly how you feel. I finally put an end to my madness today, thank go for Tim Bailey. Look forward to seeing you around more often. Congrats on the car again.
