They say if you are going to do something, do it right. But wow man, Im just glad that you are alrite. Very sorry to hear and see the wrx in this state though.

On a side note, what about any of the salvaged parts? Any word on that? I know that you shouldnt post them here but if you could PM me if anything is available, or post them up in the classified section. Im still contemplating lowering my car. My tranny build has been put on hold becuase of lack of deployment, but the mod bug is still chewing on my a$$.

I think I just stared at those pics for 10 minutes... why are wrecked cars so fascinating?

only part i was able to take off was the intercooler because i had the stock one in my garage. other than that everything on the car had to stay on there. the radio, the springs, and my 4" dp. the catback got tore up and was unusable. im keeping my intercooler cause ill be throwing it on the sti when i get it.

Are you not able to take stuff off of it due to it being "totaled"? Most parts look pretty effed up but it would seem that maybe you can pull some parts off it unless when something is totaled you cannot legally profit from it? I dunno but I see some stuff on there that's worth saving depending on conditon - brakes, wheels, engine, turbo, etc.

Ouch...she saw some abuse. But, at least she protected you.

Edit: Btw, did you hit the front right wheel so hard? That it scraped all the black paint off the rim? I just noticed that on a second viewing. Or is it just caked in mud?

Car totaled. Insurance owns the car.

What I thought just wasn't sure if that's how it worked. That blows.

my front right wheel just has caked on mud. my whole right side took alll the damage. cause i took out 4 guard posts. a few with my right fender and wheel and the rest with my rear fender. i could buy the car back cause its at an auto insurance auction and if they make it a salvage title it would sell for balls cheap and people would be discouraged from buying. if i were to buy it it might be cheap and then to have it rebuilt and panted then just dump the rest of the money into it would be pretty sweet but im not gona do that. in the beginning i originally wanted to buy an 05 sti cause i played most wanted and just raped so much with it. not to mention it was the coolest thing ever. reason why i didnt buy it at first was cause my insurance would have been sky high and i didnt know how to drive manual at all plus i would probably loose control with all the power. now that ive had the wrx, my insurance has gone down, and now know how to drive manual pretty well, im ready to get the car i wanted in the first place. im ready to make my dreams a reality and slam on a sexual STI.
