That scaffolding is fantastic, I bet if you emailed that pic to OSHA they'd have it in a slideshow in no time

That looks like a fun project. I take it you got a good deal on that house to build on?

How many people are helping you? Looks like it will require a few hands

Believe it or not, I started out with about 600 Sq Ft. I will end up with 1710 Sq Ft. I'm loving the added room. The origional house was too small for our family..

You better believe it.. I purchased the house off a family friend for what he had into it. Even with the money I'm putting into it now I'm still less invested then the value of the origional house so I'm way ahead of the curve..

And another believe it or not, My father and I are the "crew". I get a helping hand from my neighbor Bucco now and then and my Uncle Chuck helped us put the main trusses but that's really it..

All the walls all closed it. The drip endge is on. The strom / ice guard is everywhere it should be. Shingles are going on.. I'm so happy shingles are going on. NO MORE FLOODs.. YES!!!

Impressive. I hope you're leaving money for a garage with a lift. That's my dream.

My father is building a "Pole Barn" on his property with like 10 bays and we are putting a lift in there.. I do plan on some day adding a single (all I have the room for) next to the house but at this time..

I'm laid off. Have been for some time now. It honesly couldn't have worked out better. We had the finances for the addition all ready take care of so it has been a matter time for over a year then I got laid off so I get up at 6 and start working on the house till dark when the weather permits.. It's nice right now becuase it's too hot so I get a break from 1 or so till 5ish so the roof cools enough. Ask any one that has installed shingles, they will tell you that hot shingles get destroyed from you walking on them. So I don't work on the roof durring the hottest hours of the day.
