now what?

so got my 06 wrx and bought a borla exhaust system. now im not to sure what to do, well i do but id sure like to get some "words of wisdom" from people who have modded their car alot.

So anyone want to show me a path of awesomeness i could take regarding some solid modds i could do?

thanks

We need to know what you want to do with the car overall. A TBE and a tune should keep you pretty happy powerwise.

Stage 2 and a tune ->sways and endlinks -> better tires -> ALK -> better alignment

srninjastar 12-27-2008 05:28 PM

well i want to at least get 300-350whp without sacrificing reliability and longevity of the engine and increase handling as well.

ratfink 12-27-2008 05:34 PM

Then you probably need an STI

srninjastar 12-27-2008 05:55 PM

thanks for the hot tip...
if i could i would have boughten it, but i dont have that kinda money
just lookn for ways to make my wrx faster and handle better

Then look into getting the TBE and a tune for starters. Then go for some good sways and endlinks. Then after that its a turbo and supporting mods pretty much.

thanks

Since you asked for a path, here's a thread that will help you better understand what's going on under the hood and help you determine what you might like to approach as your next mod. Hope it helps.

srninjastar: What did you do all these years before you became a offical member? ROFL Just messing with you. But, if your $80 borla exhaust isn't more than a muffler. The upgrade the DP and whatever else isn't changed out. Don't forget to tune it after your done upgrading the exhaust for a full TBE. Then, where you want to go from there is up to you.

srninjastar 01-02-2009 12:48 AM

lol. ive read up on everything and what not and the exhaust i have goes all the way back to the dp. idk i just had some kind of laps in my mind where i just forgot everything but im good now. dp w/divorced wastegate, larger tmic, larger turbo, turbo inlet pipe, fuel pump, and a tune and i should get where i want. now i just have to get there...!Notfunny!

You forgot injectors!

wrxman420 01-02-2009 11:36 AM

As long as your doing injectors, you might as well do the TGV deletes.

baller_v24 01-02-2009 02:34 PM

aps intake as well, unless u want the stocker with an upgraded turbo.

srninjastar 01-02-2009 03:17 PM

deff gona get the aps intake as well as injectors, but with the TGV delete not sure cause some say its not worth it

newtothegame 01-03-2009 01:15 PM

Why a divrced wastegate designed DP?? There isnt even really a true one out there. Which brand are you looking at for that?
