No More Engines In My Kitchen.....

Well lets just say that I was "motivated" by the flashlight drags in Zeilenople this past weekend.. I spoke with one of the sponsors which happens to be an engine builder.. He told me that he "Thinks" he can re-sleeve my STI block for $150... I told him that I will bring it over Monday for him to look at.. He is only concerned about the setup of our motors (horizontal) as his equipment is for conventional "V" type... However he did say that if he can't do it he knows a guy that CAN do it.. I will have to speak with him about this guys credibility first however.. This builder that I spoke with has build a few engines that run at the drags.. One of which was the ONLY person to beat me at Clarion last year...

Everything looks to be in good condition.. I was worried about the possibility of a busted ring land but all (4) pistons are in good shape.. I still have cross hatch in all (4) cylinders.. I do however have some scoring that I don't like but I will have the shop clean those up for me while I'm at it.. Check out the pictures.. Sorry for the quality but my Girl still hasn't mastered her Sony "point and shoot" Cyber Shot...

02 WRX.. "It's fun when it runs.. Problem is that it hardly ever does..."
