the graphics look sweet. but if the NFS franchise has anything to say, the physics are gana suck.

i just checked it out, its nasty. the damage and everything is all there. just like forza. you drive 200mph and hit a rock. you will go flying and stuff will break. they really did there homework on this one <---- thats sounded ###. but seriously they really did

The damage may be there but I agree with Nuggets about the physics.

NFS = arcade racing

If you hit a rock at 200 mph I would bet my left nut the car would never move again and I doubt you would either.

Yeah I'm going to get it just because. I've had Playstation my whole life but I have the 360 instead of PS3. I've grown up with Gran Turismo, and with no doubt in my mind that is the most realistic and simply best racing game I've ever played. I used to have 3 on PS2 with the wheel and it was a blast. When I see the preview for 4 it gives me chills. Sorry to thread jack a bit, but I really want PS3 just for that game.

Garage
the game is pretty bland other than being graphically pretty. If you want a cool game with upgrading cars and a damage model, Go get the Old NFS: Porshe Unleashed. Much better racing game than this crap.

Oh, and GT4 is already out long ago (PS2). The new one is GT5 which is due to have a "prologue" preview release this year (PS3).

so i got it yesterday for $8.50 wich was amazing. i played it and its crazy fun. got the wrx suped it up (with only 10,000) and hit the track. was goin 100, hit the dirt road, got back hit a rock and i was air born. did a full roll bout 9 times. parts flew everywhere and it was totalled. thats when i jumped over my coffe table to reset it lol. damage is so there, but its fun. like forza and nfs put together. and it takes forever to get from one stage to another. so ill be hit this game up for quite some time

would you belive they added a clutch button just for drifting!? its crazy. i havent drifted yet but i bet its gona be amazing. its so indepth that you can even change gear ratios, and make gears taller or shorter and change tire pressure. its crazy.

For those of you that have played ProStreet already, how is the driving system compared to Forza? I'm thinking about picking it up, but I don't want to waste my time/money on a mediocre game, especially when I'm addicted to COD4 right now and already own forza.

driving is like forza, sorta they got the whole help marker thing and all, and u gota slow down or else ull hit the wall. and you do take damage just like forza. its not very expensive it goes for 29.99 on ps2 but i got it for 8.65. customizing is very detailed. and over all IMO its a very fun game

The official GT4 wheel with the logo in the middle made by Logitech was the best and only choice in my eyes. I seriously considered investing money into building my own drivers seat as I already had a good setup between the wheel itself and the tv. I'm gonna go pick up NFS today.
