New Mods!!:)

I can't wait! my turbo finally came (two months later). It's a Deadbolt TD05-16G. It's going in with my new PE650cc injectors, and a walbro fuel pump. After that's all installed and broken in, it's off to Cobb for a custom pro-tune on the dyno . I will post updates as I go along. I'm throwing everything in on sat. the 29Th and the tune is scheduled for the third of Aug. I'll post a copy of the dyno sheet as well. I'm not looking for big numbers, but something strong and quick for an awesome daily driver that will have a little bit longer life span than a lot of other cars I read about. Maybe now I'll finally be able to beat a Lancer OZ rally edition. Or maybe even an SRT-4.

I needed to break in the turbo. It's kind of ironic. I post this thread last night and this morning I'm on my way to work and the guy ahead of me slams on his breaks so I do, but I was going to hit him so I swerved hit a car in the HOV lane sending me into a Mercedes M class SUV, that flips me one complete time from wheels to wheels totaling my suby. Now how is that for a wonderful day! Funny thing is, the M class that was not too badly damaged had to be pushed off the interstate. after I stopped rolling I didn't realize it but my car was still running, so I turned it off then realized it was running so I turned the key and it fired right up. I tried to move it but the wheels were so messed up it wouldn't move. I walked away sore but, I walked away. Nobody could believe that I walked away without any broken bones or scrapes. When the incident management guys were trying to move it I told them it will run, and they were all "What?! It'll run?!" I said:"Of course! It's a Subaru!". Just be safe out there guys. And to let everybody know I got some used parts selling for CHEAP!!

And this is why I got a Subaru over a used Evo. Safety. This guy has a modified bumper beam because of his FMIC, but I bet his car could out-crash an Evo and he would come out like 5 times better.

Sorry to hear about your accident, hopefully you get enough from insurance to be able to put a good amount down on a new WRX or STI.

I'll try and get somepics of the car tomorrow when I go and take off the exhaust and the other stuff. I'm still in shock that this happened! I miss my suby!

At least I can start looking at STi's now. But I miss my baby.

Yeah. The cop said that I made an "Unsafe lane change" and gave me the citation (bastards). What am I supposed to run into the back of the guy in front of me? If you do, they give you a "Following too close" citation. You're screwed either way.

Yep, it's a bummer. Are you going to have to pay for the damages to the Mercedes by way or insurance? If so, that sucks!

Wow, that sucks man, glad to hear you're okay. Hopefully the insurance doesn't rape you in the end Since you mention it, I do need a replacement glove compartment box and a single stock WRX rim

Man that sucks. You had a nice happy start to this thread. Alot of people tell there reck storries here but i feel for you most out of any of them. Life can turn you in adifferent direction quick. You just had put in a new turbo and were looking forward to years of fun with your wrx and then this happens. I will pray to the suby gods that some good fortune comes your way.
