new car price?

I hope my post is not off topic for this thread.

I am looking to purchasing my first Subaru WRX and I am starting to think that I am not getting the best/quote on the 2013 WRX 5-door from the two dealers I have been negotiating with.

MSRP is $27,995 and invoice is $2,6165 for a 2013 WRX 5-door base with only two options; Sti Short throw shifter and SPT catback exhaust.

My counter offer was $365 under invoice at $25,800. Does their invoice seem high or should I be negotiating for a lower price?

Depends what trim level and options. I would stay clear of those 2 "mods" as they are poop (you can/will do much better on other equipment).

YUP....don't pay for a exhaust and a SS that are crazy priced...I think they charge $1200 for the exhaust and almost $300 for the short throw... The shifter is junk anyway..Like Paul said you can do a lot better with aftermarket parts and keep a little $$ in your pocket.

so stock its not even funny...just kinda sad :(

Yeah, try to find a base with nothing on it but maybe some all weather mats or auto dim mirror (I love those two things)
