New to the board.. thought I would say hello

Hey everyone, thought I would say hello and introduce myself... Currently I own a mildly modified 97 Eclipse GST

I am thinking of converting to a WRX though and trade in my eclipse.. Added bonus is that my 18x7.5's are both 5x100 and 5x4.5 so they can come of the GST and onto a WRX.

I posted some of my newbie convert questions here

yup, that's my car..

thanks for the compliments. The only thing is I have to put it away for the winters (FWD + Turbo + Snow = Ditch)

Plus we may be having a little one on the way next year so the 2 door car just isn't going to cut it. So I am looking for:

good looks + fun to mod + fun to drive + 4 doors = WRX

Well no wagon for me yet... we have a CRV for doing the big hauling... I am still "allowed" to have something sporty yet... plus the WRX is a lot less $$$ than an S4 and the STI or EVO is just too much of a true race car for daily driving in stop and go traffic.

Welcome, its good to have you here. Make sure to tell us when you get your WRX.

I'll be getting mine in the spring

Right now I am doing research on the car to find out what to buy first and how to mod it. Finding lots of good information. It is a totally different world than my Turbo DSM. But I am parting out my DSM's performance parts and snapping up some WRX stuff over the winter.

Can't wait for the AWD, I was getting pretty tired of the front tires breaking loose all the time.

Hate to see my baby go, she was gorgeous, but it is time to move on.
