n00b to you....STi vs. EVO

Hello all, I am new to the STi, but not new to Tuning. I have been an avid Mitsu fan for years now, running a 1G Laser into the 11's and dropping a 4G63T into a Mirage. But, the time has come I think for me to move on to better things.....I have been reading and evaluating the STi vs EVO for about two years now...And my personal opinion is the 2005 Sti is the better of the two. I don't want to get too much into which is better as they are both very good cars, and most of the reviews have been just personal preference. So, this is what I want to tell all those out there owning an STi or Evo. If you want a solid car that can corner well and has better horsepower, and feels like a luxury car....buy the STi. If you want to feel your butt dancing along the road and on the edge of control...buy the Evo. Remember, this is just my opinion....but, I am 33 years old now and the dancing on the road thing has been fun, but way over rated. I want a car that feels solid to the touch and solid on the road, with more options and "bling" than an Evo has to offer. I haven't picked up my Sti yet but it's on order, and for me, the fun factor will be so much more than that of the Evo....Just a quick note...the 11 second DSM that I had....rolled over three times on a windy road just this past summer...LOL Three cheers to Subaru!!

strange that everyone compares the sti to the evo gsr (regular model) which is supposed to be direct competition for the regular wrx, the evo mr is the one that is supposed to go head to head with the sti, and in which the mr wins.....either way its your choice if you like the bubbly looks of the sti or the mean shark-like appearance of the evo

I think everyone compares them that way because the standard Evo is the same price as the STi, if not more. The MR is more than that. I don't know about you, but the more I pay for a car the faster I expect it to be....

C6 or Z06?

C6 is 12.7 stock
Z06 is lucky for a 11.3, but thats a lot of money for that 11.3 (which isn't impresive for the $:ET or $:HP ratio IMO.
