In MA paint quality is SOULY between the customer and paint shop. The insurance companies won't get involved. BS right?! But we'll see why it looks like after I get it back...

For what it's worth, it's nice that he is willing to take your car on as a 'project'. My shop (comprised of talented painters based on the other work I've seen from them) wanted multiple attempts at it too. It showed me that they were not just in it for the money, but were concerned about perfecting their own quality and craftsmanship (Subaru paint is difficult even for the pros!). As a fellow OCD'er, I can appreciate that mindset. I have a feeling that your situation will have a positive result!

Now we're talkin' dammit!! Just visited the paint shop who called and said the Rex was good to go. They ended blending both bumpers and painting the whole sideskirt. I guess the trick is 8 coats of pearl, cause now it looks perfect! Shoulda been done right the first time even if not paid for it, but I'm more than happy with it now 👍

Lmao! Nice dude. You think they'd take some pride in their work and the company. Word of mouth can come back to bite them. Glad you got it back finally, and correct. Have fun driving later now that it's back! I would be lost if I couldn't drive mine for that amount of time.
