Just back from U.K. ...
It was great to be somewhere that the rules of the road (including passing lanes!) are obeyed. After seeing some of the country lanes, I now understand why so many great rally drivers are from the UK. There were some that I'm sure my wife's Maxima would not fit down!
Anyway, the last few days of our trip were in Cardiff and Bridgend, Wales. That is where the final round of the '03 WRC season takes place this week. As we were heading out of town on the M4 to London, I saw tons of tricked out WRX's, Evo's, some earlier rallied out Escorts and Minis, among other stuff. It was extremely cool. Actually, pretty slick WRX's are not that unusual. It seems like there were more in Wales than Southern England.
