Living there would be hard though. Mars has no moon so instead of it rotating on an axis and around in a perfect circle like the earth which is all because of our moon, mars flits, twists, up, down, etc etc. so like one month summer, next winter, next winter but you're south poll and not the north poll and on and on.

I mean, let's be fair. Pluto was the runt even when it was still considered a planet.

LOL @ the pluto comments. Well, you can either call them moons or permanent asteriods that orbit mars. Kind of sounds dumb to call them asteroids.

while i did not know that i personally would not call those moons. i would call them satellites (a satellite doesn’t mean a man made electronic thing we put in space). At only 12 miles across they have zero impact on the planet (id guess, about 99% sure). That’s why mars being about 351.75 times larger across flips, spins, rotates in all directions like I said. just in diameter its .003% the diameter of mars. our moon is 27% the diameter, much greater. i learn something new every day.

Wow i got in this a little late but wow. Pluto is no longer a planet because it is outside the kuiper belt i believe its called. But, I had an astronomy class in college and learned about the other galaxies ,etc.. Makes you really consider that were not alone. No possible way there is so much out there larger and billions of light years away to be nothing. Hmmmmm

So, this may not be an intelligent thought, but it defiantly crossed my mind yesterday. Basing off scifi movies, advanced races have some type of artificial gravity generator on their spacecraft. For us, we simulate it by spinning the spacecraft.

I can only imagine our first meeting of this intelligent race orbiting some different planet, and they see us there, in our little spacecraft spinning like jackasses.

What made me laugh even more is if they use the same method to simulate gravity. Both of us sitting there spinning like two retarded kids meeting for the first time. I realize that sounds terribly offensive, and as if I wasn't going to hell for it, I am now.
