Eh. 350 whp stock and more tq where the dyno reading begins than a stock STI makes peak and it carried that to redline. It's got big brakes and no body roll. ;) The ridiculous amount of standard amenities was nice too.

And it has a 100k mile warranty, which anybody here who knows anything about my WRX realizes, weighs in heavily as well.

basco 04-28-2013 03:27 PM

Nice Justin! I briefly looked into ditching the MS6 for one before I picked up the F-250 (I need to haul my unreliable hunk of Subaru around quite often too lol)

i second that. plus you almost paid 50k for a hyundai.

man show 04-28-2013 04:30 PM

It has the looks of a Mercedes Benz and I'm sure the amenities and performance are pretty nice, but I still have a hard time accepting Hyundai as a "good" brand based on their historical line of crappy cars. They're certainly continuing to take steps in the right direction though.

By the way, since you're local enough, you should come to my friend's car meet/bbq on May 26th in Walkersville if you're available ;)

BLAZE2099 04-28-2013 06:09 PM

Wait, these are more expensive than an optioned out sti?

brfatal 04-28-2013 07:30 PM

MSRP is $47,695. I suddenly discovered I was "rich" when I decided to stop fixing the Subaru. I paid much less than that though.

10 years ago Hyundai was a terrible brand. They have made incredible strides in the last few years.

In my defense rex2002, this car is barely the 2nd fastest car in my driveway (#3 is only behind by a narrow margin). Much faster than the Toyota it replaced.

NeverSummer 04-28-2013 08:07 PM

I still can justify spending over 40k for Korean. Just saying. Good luck w your Hyundai!! The Hyundai forum is that way >>>>>>>>

BLAZE2099 04-28-2013 09:28 PM

Wait, you still have your Wrx?
So your just adding toys to your collection? Well that's understandable then.

BLAZE2099 04-28-2013 09:31 PM

And for the record to those who hate on Hyundai, they have partnered up with some decent companies in the past for several of there cars. Yes they were crap in the past but he is correct, they have been improving.
If it was a daewoo Justin, then I'd be a little more upset....fol

Left over '12? The cheapest I could find was 42500 OTD but that was also in January
