I Officially joined the wagon club

My new 07 just arrived after being trailored in from California. I didn't want to give up the details until after I got it. We put it in the garage and I had to leave fore the weekend but I'll put up pics and details this week.

Its an 07, 55k miles, clear title of course, fp green, autochrome top mount, 750 deatscheworks, n1 cat back, Cobb down pipe, atomic orange corvette color, lowered too much for my taste, RA gears, needs a new hood I'll explain later, needs new front bumper, it hit a hitch, and needs a sideskirt. Worst, it has supposedly a bad center Dif.

Paint is gorgeous, all ppg.

Hands down the smoothest idlei I've ever seen on one of my Subarus

My price? $8000 delivered.

Congrats Brandon. Glad to see and hear that you are happy also. Sounds like a pretty legit setup also. Just need to update the rest of your profile, lol.

Thanks all. Matt, your post cracked me up. I found the car the way ive found most of mine, patience, autotrader, nasioc, and craigslist. whenever I'm looking for a new car, I spend around an hour every night putting in my mileage parameters into a site that searches craigslist within like 1000 miles of my zip. I look every day so I don't miss the perfect deal.

So I found a guy in California with this who was asking 10k obo. He said he'd take nine, and had a friend who was a Subaru tech. Plan was for me to bank roll the part in advance and he would have his buddy fix the car so i could drive it home. Time passed and we realized how difficult it was to coordinate this idea, so he said he would just bring it up here to Washington on trailer.

Since he is a body/ paint man (he shot the car himself at the shop he was working at) he offered to do the body work again, at my expense for parts. After two months of trying to source a new bumper and hood, we said screw it and he dropped the price got the sideskirt he forgot to mention and the hassle.

I'm definitely stoked. Even if major repairs are necessary, I feel like I got a steal.

Also, I searched a but but if anyone knows anything about this SSAutochrome intercooler, I'd love to hear it.

the SSAC TMIC is basically the same as the CSS which from what I read years ago on NASIOC was very similar to the Turbo XS, the Green will definitely max it out as well as those injectors, if I were you I would be looking into a FMIC and some 1000cc injectors and you should be able to hit 400awhp fairly easy

Kurt I've got a work van now which will keep miles real low on the new car. Other than that, Ya driving the super sweet neon. And I plan on doing the center Dif myself. If that doesn't fix it we'll just see.

I'll look into a front mount Matt, 400 hp has always been a goal. But my plan has been to go back to a ported vf39 so I don't have to worry about reliability. But honestly, I think after I drive the green I'll be hooked.

especially on a 2.5L the Green should really hit pretty hard

Yeah, that kind of power (400awhp) will probably tear that transmission and engine a new one.
