Happy Birfday to me.

Dropped some currency on some new pipes and titanium wrap! Mixed and matched some deals together and went with Invidia up pipe, Invidia open bellmouth downpipe, and Invidia N-1 catback (all catless). Still deciding if I'm going to attempt all this myself, as it looks easy enough on paper. Any tips/tricks appreciated.

Soak the wrap in water before wrapping the pipes. Use silicone spray sealer specially made for wrap after you do them. Use the sealer according to directions for it to really work. This usually means baking them after it dries. I threw mine on the bbq grill....lol.This protects against water and other stuff along with prolonging life.

Lots of pb blaster. Take the engine mounts loose and jack up the engine slightly for extra clearance when doing the up. Now would be a good time to add some urethane exhaust hangers if you want. Use all new quality gaskets.

This is a dry DEI wrap. Supposedly not supposed to get it wet or anything. It just utilizes metal fasteners. I might even replace the motor mounts because I think the driver side is clunking on bumps. And yeah, I bought some kartboy 15mm hangers. Gaskets are a must. Is the hardest part, the uninstall of the stock up?

My bad...I totally missed the part where you said dei titanium. You are correct, the sealer don't bond to the titanium. They also say it don't need to be wet. Ooopppps.
