Yeah, I thought about doing an installation write-up with pictures showing all different angles of it, but then laziness got the best of me. Thanks

Yeah, but I think it matches the stock pedals nicely, much better than the other style with the two large holes in the top and bottom for the stock plastic circle tabs. I pulled off the stock dead pedal and attached this one directly to the carpet using Shoe Goo... still holding strong after a couple of years.

Who's next?

Man Show, did you install that completely unnecessary piece of trim yet? My wife got me one like three years ago and it's been sitting in my glove box with no way to attach it to my car. Rather frustrating.

Si senor. I pulled the stock one off and attached the aftermarket one directly to the carpet with Shoe Goo. It's strong as a mofo.

Who's got another pic?

interesting. My carpet has two holes in it that line up with the two holes in the dead pedal. It doesn't look like something that's supposed to be glued, though I'm not sure what they're supposed to screw into.

There are two styles of aftermarket dead pedals that I'm aware of:

Type 1: The one I have. It's slightly larger than the stock dead pedal and it has a flat rubber back and there is no obvious way to mount it. I glued it directly to the carpet as shown in the following pictures.

Type 2: The one in the last picture. It was designed to replace the stock dead pedal exactly and it reuses the two plastic tabs that were used to hold the stock black plastic dead pedal on. The plastic tabs just pull straight out. It's a quick install, but in my opinion, it doesn't look quite as nice as the one I have.

There. Now you know all there is to know about Subaru dead pedals

yep, yours is nicer in my opinion. The design on yours matches the other pedals (starting and ending with the pair of small circles), while the stock replacement tabs cause the other one to "look wrong" pattern-wise.

After an extensive search, I was unable to find any 09s in 07
