Guess man show's new whp/tq numbers

Just for fun: My 2007 WRX has an upcoming date with IAG's Dynojet in-ground dyno in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if anybody cares to take a guess what the whp/tq numbers will be. Feel free to guess an exact number or a range.

Power mods will be:

P&L Motorsports 3" HiFLO (Big MAF) intake
Perrin turbo inlet hose
Blouch TD06-20G-XT turbo
Turbo XS TMIC w/ silicone pipes
Grimmspeed 3 port ebcs
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
Injector Dynamics 1000 cc injectors
Perrin lightweight crank pulley
Grimmspeed ported/polished/ceramic coated exhaust manifold
Grimmspeed ceramic coated high-flow crosspipe
Cobb catted downpipe
HKS Hi-Power Carbon-Ti cat back
Cobb AccessPORT
93 Octane Shell gas

I'm going to guess 338 whp/321 tq because it would be really cool to get a 100 whp increase over where I'm at now and the tq number is just a complete guess.

If anybody guesses either number exactly, I'll also let you pick a set of Mega Millions or Powerball numbers and I'll play one ticket and split any winnings with you. :sneaky:

Depends how much boost he give you and the cf on the dyno.

I'll propose two options

350/375

of if he tunes without regard to the engine

375/400

If that's the case I need to find dynojet to dyno myself on...because I'll clear 400whp easily.

I bet you guys all just want a shot at the Mega Millions or Powerball ticket :p It will be very interesting to see if anybody guesses either number exactly.

I'll guess higher than where you are now, but lower than Kirt

man show 04-29-2012 11:49 PM

Yeah, I'm pretty confident it will be somewhere in that range.

On the bright side, nobody guessed 0/0 yet (a.k.a. engine explodes on dyno)

pzr2874 04-30-2012 06:35 AM

Conservative 320/330

Otherwise 340/360

Thats funny you say that. Not sure if you remember but that happened to me a few years ago when I got my car done up. The turbo crapped itself on the dyno.

man show 04-30-2012 10:33 PM

Joshua, I do remember that and it's in the back of my mind, but I'm trying to think positive. No guesses for you?

Randy, the 0/0 guess belongs to you and I sincerely hope you're wrong :)

turmic 04-30-2012 11:18 PM

At least Joshua's was just a turbo failure that didn't damage anything else.

Yeah, I'm kind of thinking high on my ball park because of you still being near sea level and a dynojet. You'd probably be closer to Chris's ball parks if you were at a higher elevation...that's just my opinion. I could be wrong...Jorge will show us what he's made of. ;)
