Got the STI itch, any great deals near you on 08s?

A few weeks ago someone posted a flyer from a dealer near them that had some pretty goods looking deals on 2008-2009 STIs. I am seriously thinking of upgrading to an 08. Does anybody know of a dealer that really like to sell these things?

Oh and also, I have an option to buy a "manufacturer buyback" or "lemon law" car for a pretty good price. It has been reconditioned by Subaru and is now free of defect. 2008 Sti no nav for $27k. It's got 14k miles on it.

Any opinions on this?

sounds like a pretty good deal...car is almost 2 years old so the mileage is pretty low...still has the warranty...i would just wonder how much the guy who owned it before you beat the piss out of it....other than that..its an STI and i would go for it.

i think you have to spend the extra 2k for the blue STI..so what do you think u want to do?

Lowest they'll go is $29500. I beat them up the best I could. I am still going to have to pay $3400 to payoff my rex after trade. DOH!

Anyone have an 08/08 wrx 5 door or STi near Boise Idaho? There's none in town, and I'd like my wife to at least sit in one, and possibly drive it around the block. Her biggest complaint on the 08 we have is that it's hard to see out of.

Ratfink- you going to Larry Miller on Boise? I'm picking up my 09 hatch there in a couple weeks. They had a used 07 STi for awhile, but I guess they finally sold it- was WR blue with gold BBS wheels.

Did you check cars.com?

Yeah, larry miller and team subaru both told me they basically only do presold STi unless someone trades one it. I suppose one of them might have a 5 door rex though. I need the 08 back seat space.

Oh, and I checked cars, autotrader, craigslist, and a few other sites. I've got them giving me a grand more for my rex then at first on the Blue STi that's nearly new and a full limited BBS with nav.

Well, a guys bringing a cashiers check for my last to sell motorcycle. I'll likly have that STi soon. hehehehe (giggles like a little girl)
