Got the beast a new front lip

An 06-07 Impreza WRX STI JDM CS Front Lip Kit to be exact.

it was sooooooooooooo easy to put on and it only cost me $75. not to mention its full 100% ABS plastic.

p.s - the Mach V lowering springs come in friday and will get put on either sunday or monday.

Looks good. I have contemplated that, but have put my money else where lately.

I think I'd like it more if it was flat on the bottom, but as long as you like it that's all that matters.

Looks like it fits pretty well. I'm not too terribly crazy about the flipped up sides, so that's why I spent an extra $25 and got an STi Limited knock off lip for my car. Once you get those lowering springs on, your ground clearance in the front is going to be completely shot. I've already scraped my lip several times on steep driveways and I can barely make it up my Race Ramps to change my oil and my ride height is stock right now. I got scared the other day when I happened to roll over some road kill, but luckily, I made it. I can only imagine the things I'd hit if it was lowered. Thanks for the pics.

thats why im debating weather or not if i should paint it. cause if i do it will look alllot better, but if i scrape it will jack the paint up, if i dont it will just look kinda odd. idk

do you guys think i should paint it OBP to match the rest of the car?

i'd paint it. paint is cheap just use spray on adhesive, primer and paint and clear. look at the thread "paint it yourself?" i painted my sideshirts a new hood scoop headlights and grille and i love it.

That's a tough call. From the front, it sort of matches the little black plastic piece behind the front license plate, so it looks good unpainted. From the side, it doesn't really match anything and the flipped up sides make it sort of look like it's supposed to be part of the bumper, so it would probably look good painted OBP. But if you paint it and it chips (and it almost certainly will since it's at the front of the car and that side takes the most abuse), it will look pretty bad and you'll have to go through the trouble of painting it again. Maybe leave it like that for a while and see if it grows on you. I was tempted to paint my STi limited knock off lip, but I decided not to for now. If it fades really bad or something, I'll consider painting it.

It looks different. +1 for something new. I just know, that i could not run that. I'd be plowing the streets in the winter and I am just barely missing scraping steep driveways as is.

It might look alrite if it were colored match or you had more carbon fiber accents on it. For instance back at Fort Lewis there was an 06 that had a CF hoodscoop, sideskirts, and front and rear lip, it looked alrite. I have seen a smiliar lip on a colored match silver bugeye, but I think it was the Gracer Lip, or something like that.
