Goodbye WRXTUNERS

My 2002 Blaze Yellow WRX was stolen and total lossed, and I decided due to my pending retirement (less than 2 years) from the US military it would not be financially convienient to repair the WRX. I purchased a 2006 Legacy and will be selling or salvaging the WRX. It is too bad I am not back in Tacoma, WA because I am sure I'd get more $$$ for it's remains....but then again in Tacoma it probably wouldn't have been stolen!

I have been a member of this site for a very long time and you folks have been very helpful, without you I may have done something very stupid and destructive to my car....other than f***ing up the gearbox due to a bigger turbo, but I at least was advised on the potential for that to happen.

I have now signed on with LegacyGT.com, as there are no 3.0R specific websites. If anyone needs advice about Subarus, don't ask me....there are far more expirenced ppl on this site than I . But if anyone is in Western Germany, the Netherlands or Eastern Belguim who needs an extra set of hands turning wrenches on a Subie, let me know!

Eric

Wow, haven't seen you on here in a while.

That sucks. At least you had 10 years with her.

Good luck.

Sorry to hear about what happened. Good luck on LegacyGT.com. Legacy's aren't bad; I've got one myself! It's kinda slow, but that's why I wanted it lol (daily driver).

Feel free to stalk or return anytime. GL with the legacy. They're pretty nice as well.

The Legacy is a 3.0R Spec B 245bhp....but yeah I am used to 270Whp, huge difference. But when I built the WRX it took me 7 years to get it right, on a budget because I was married. Being single I should have whatever forced induction system I decide on bolted onto the 3.0l in two years
