Boost control solenoid...

Depending on the size of the piping on the headers you increase your top end at the cost of your low end.

i think the piping size was 2.5
and no i didnt change to aftermarket bcs.

I am going to bet that if you went to a header with a closer to stock diameter and a better boost control solenoid you could get your lag reduced significantly.

Changing the BCS will require a re-tune. Leave it alone unless you intend to get it tuned again anyway.

I would wager your intake and headers are costing you several hundred RPMs of spool. Also remember that lower octane gas spools slower.

so you think my headers are giving me this huge lag?
yeah i dont got money to do a retune anytime soon.
well all i use is 91 octane. so ima go try 100 octane and see how this works.

I think your intake, your headers, your gas, and your BCS are combining to give you that huge lag.
