Fair trade?

So I want to trade my trunk w/ STi wing for a wingless trunk. What would be a fair trade? Their trunk plus 50-100 bucks for mine? I mean the wing has some value ya? I know its functional, I think I read somewhere it has 60 lbs of downforce at 100mph, but I'm just too old for this damn big ass wing on the back of my car. So what is a fair trade??

Straight up is a fair trade. Seriously, people do it all the time. It adds a little bit of downforce but not nearly as much as it adds drag. And it has weight. No, taking it off is a serious performance mod.

Maybe money would change hands if one is debadged and the other is not. Otherwise I think they're even.

Also, make sure you change the springs. Oh, and of course you'll loose the ability to open the trunk with the key

It's a trade. One wants something and one doesn't. A straight up trade seems fair to me. Now the question becomes who is going to make the swap and do the work? Then maybe some money could be involved in my opinion.

I've done it before. It's not that hard, but you need to make sure you put everything back in correctly or you'll be spending hours figuring out why it won't stay shut (ask me how I know...)
