Not surprised...AMS did some light mods to their all carbon fiber GT-R 35 a couple months back. Which I'm assuming is the same car in the video....back then it was basically turbo compressor wheel upgrade to light weight billet, some intercooler pipe upgrade, and fuel mods. The car put down high 800 or low 900 whp. I forget, but the GT-R 35 has a lot of hp that is left untapped from the factory. Imagine that...a company puts a incrediable car and its still restrained.

There is some slight sarcasam in that last sentence

It definitely takes some cash to mod an already $85k car.... Break something in the trans? That'll be $15,000.

I was thinking about this yesterday, if those cars ever drop into the $30k range, and I picked one up as a toy, I still couldn't afford it.

Let me know when you are no longer gun shy to letting others take it for a quick spin. (With you in the passenger side seat....of course) I'll make a trip to MD if I can get behind the wheel of a Skyline.

If I get one under warranty you could take it for a spin for sure! I'm just waiting for the 2013 GT-R to come out so the price will fall on the '11-12's (plus I need to save up just a tad more lol)

I'm sure I could attempt to own one. But, I don't know if I could afford the maintence and insurance. Plus, I would have to give up on buyer a better place to live just to own a skyline.

Just like the Z06 vette in a trailer parks I've seen around here a few times. . I don't live in a trailer and don't plan on it.
