Cop lies,court extortion

It was the day after X-mas. My girl freinds car (a 95 3000GT) is flashing a low coolent light. She needs to drive this car a long distance the next day beacause her dad died X-mas day. To get it up to temp and check it out I took it on a drive down a 2 lane black-top. I was doing 40 in a 55mph zone. It started to snow. It was big fluffy wet flakes. The kind that melt when they touch the ground. It was 34deg so it was only making the road wet. It got into the high 40s that day and snow had been melting down to nothing all week. And the road had been scraped, sanded and salted within an inch of its life. Also, the car had new Blizzak WS-50s on it I came up on 2 cars going very slow. I signaled and passed them one at a time. Never going faster than 48mph. I was in a legal passing zone. I then turned around in the 1st gas station on the edge of town. Thats when a smokey comes screaming up head on. I got a ticket for "unsafe passing" And "too dark window tint." The trooper tried to tell me I didn't signal. I asked him where, when I passed or when I entered the gas station? Then he changed his story and said I didn't signal "long enough" during the pass. I thought ? He never said what was "unsafe"about my pass. And as for the window tint...Its NOT MY CAR!!! There is really nothing I can do about the window tint in sombody elses car. So I took it to court. The cop lied about the condition of the road, saying it was 100% snow & ice covered. How can a road be 100% S & I covered in less than 10 min when it's above freezing and has been for several days? The judge went with the lying trooper. Hey, badge=right...no badge=wrong. Even though I haven't gotten a ticket in over 15 years and I have drivin 27 Iowa winters without incident. That has to be some kind of record around here!!! The tint thing was dismissed. Or so I thought. I payed the fine for the lie then a few weeks later I get this thing in the mail saying I didn't pay the window tint. I didn't get a virdict notice like I did with the unsafe pass lie.

What do I do now? Nothing is more sicking to me than a lying cop. To me that is the lowest form of scum walking the earth. It's hard enough for me to pay a fine for a lie. But now I have to pay a fine for somthing I have no control over? Window tint in a car that's NOT MINE!!! I work on a lot of peoples cars and I don't have acces to a tint meter to check every car I happen to drive. Help!!!

Some cops are just rediculous. Your g/f should be paying the tint fine if it's her car.

I agree w/ longshot...the GF should pay the tint fine. I LOVE LYING COPS. I had to do 6 months of "driving probation" because I "peeled out" at a stop sign...I asked the cop....so officer...can you tell me how one peels out in a AWD car??? Talk to the judge he says... Shitbag cops are everywhere, they have nothing better to do. Unfortunatley there isn't anything you can do. You allready went to court...its over...just use this experience for next time you get in a situation...if you had a camera in the car you could have taken pictures of the road condition he was lying about....I keep a cheapy disposable camera in my car...just a thought. Z

You should be able to move it up the chain, as in, if this were at the township court, you can go to county, if county, then district. Call the next in line court house and sencerely ask someone. It sounds like you might not have been prepared enough for every possibe scenario before going into court originally (no offense), but the truth should prevail!!!

Good luck...

Sux! Try this on for size...I just got a $160 ticket in the mail for unpaid tolls in Chicago..Problem is, I havn't owned the car in question in over a year & half,& I live in St.Louis. The F#*k-nugget that bought my ride put the front plate w/ no sticker on the back, & didn't register it...Now here is where it gets realy sweet. 5mo. ago I got a photo ticket in the mail from Chi. Show'n my former car turn'n on red. I called the DMV,& the Sec.of State,& told them I had sold the car in spring 07'..They helped me out, & had my name removed from the title,& the ticket drop'd...(I have yet to see my check, that I had to send in before I got it "fixed")....So I call the toll peeps, & tell em how they got the wrong guy, & how I've got the papers to prove it. She kindly tells me that since the date on the paperwork is after the date the toll violations were recorded, I am the fall guy!!
Pay your taxes, don't break the law, help old ladies across the street, get F#*K$D!!!!

I'll tell you exactly what you do, get in with a cop and get a sick PBA card, supposedly you can get pba plates in nj by going down to dmv, requesting that you want to make a donation to the pba and get pba plates in return, or you can buy a pba card off ebay, or try to make buddies with someone who practices law, might be tough to do but sniff around and kiss some u know what....

it's a crock of shit if you think that plate stops the cop from doing anything. They pull you over before they can even notice it and they've likely already decided if they're giving you a ticket or not (mostly based on their quota).

Recently I got a ticket for "Illegal Screaching/Squealing of Tires" when I turned around in a GRAVEL parking lot. Yeah, the back end did swing out a bit when boost came up. Yeah, I turned a little fast. Still, it was a private GRAVEL parking lot. Only cost $75 and no points thankfully.

Anyone wanna tell me how you tires screach on GRAVEL? Did I mention I was on GRAVEL! Oh, and it took 5 cops to pull me over. Why? Small town, nothing better to do. There are 250 residents of this town, 5 are cops and the rest are strippers. Oops, exotic dancers. Sauget, IL if anyone wants to check it out.
