Car cover

I'm looking to buy a cover for my car because with my work I travel a lot and I am sick of coming home to a dirty car when I clean the day before I leave.

Just wondering what covers are you guys using and some suggestion on what one I should get (I no this kind of a odd question but figured it don't hurt to ask)

I use a Subaru one since it's perfectly form fitting & it was "free" (with subaru bucks). Only problem is when it rains since it's not water proof, so it still makes it dirty.

Meh, if you're going to look into car covers why not a padded one in case of hail ?

Wonder if they make em?

I use a California Car cover regularly (these days my car is driven on the weekends and sits outside in the driveway during the week). My first one (the best you could get at the time) lasted almost 3 years. UV rays compromised the material, the seams were still holding strong. This time I bought the most durable one (wasn't available before IIRC). The fit and quality are superb, even though some may gripe about the price. For me, the price is worth it (think of it as an insurance premium cost spread over 3+ years) considering how well the paint and tires hold up in the S. CA sun, wind, and (occasional) rain.

Oh yeah, and they will alter to fit any body mods that your car has.

since this thread was brought back to life, I will provide an update.

After 3 years, my California Car cover's stitching on one of the seams came undone last week. This is not surprising, as the high winds in the valleys of S. CA can really whip and billow a car cover to death. California Car cover has honored their 4 year warranty and will be replacing the car cover with a new one, no questions asked. Their customer service is really pleasant and they weren't interested in seeing any pictures of the "damage". I will be using them indefinitely.

I still use my Subaru one but only use it when the car is clean and garaged to keep the dust off. I had to repair it with material from the bag since it got caught in the agitator of my washer (traditional).

Glad to hear they're covering it under warranty.
