Can't Drive Barefoot For Sh!t!

The rubber bumps on my clutch pedal SUCK for driving barefoot

I just cant do it!

Anyone else have the same issue, I mean I dont really care I have this beat to shit pair of chuck taylors I wear all the time anyway which will be retired as riving shoes when i get new ones but still.

I love driving in my Nike Frees too, just not barefoot!

Yeah, I never knew how much pressure I put on that pedal untill the rubber bumps felt like rocks going into my foot...Nike indoors though, they feel like love when Im driving.

No ####...

but I drove with nike frees and some random cross country shorts (I never ran cross country...I found them)

First off...the breeze is pretty much liberating, and driving with frees on is like butter lol.

I know I cant drive in my work boots for the life of me.
Now bring my Etnies with me and change them at work.
Tried barefoot once and Ill pass on doing that again.

Barefoot isnt easy, especially with a stg3 clutch, but I can do it pretty decently. Chucks, Etnies, DCs, Pumas, Addidas, Diesel that I own are almost way to easy usually. And Chuck I feel you about work boots also, its difficult for me to drive the car with my military boots also.

It takes some getting used to...to be able to drive in work boots. I hated it for the longest time. I can drive barefoot I just hate driving it with flip flops on. Mostly because the flip flops fall off and I'm afraid that its going to jam under the pedal lol.

I agree that it sucks to drive in anything but some nice sneakers (es).

and to add, I think that doing this driving barefoot thing is illegal.

barefoot with our pedals isn't that bad IMHO (if you're not driving aggressively)...I like it because I can use only my big toe for the brake pedal and keep the rest of my right foot over the gas. (I suppose that gives a whole new meaning to "heal - toe").

I thought it was only illegal if you drive without shoes IN your car...

I believe it differs per state.

From Wiki... Take it with a grain of salt :

Many people also believe that it is illegal to operate a motor vehicle barefoot, though there are no laws in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and other places against it.

gunk007 is more helpful than not
I am with Kirt, I am afraid my flip flop is going to fall off so I drive barefoot. THe knobs on my pedals are pretty worn down so it is not that bad. Plus I feel like I have alot more feel. Imagine that

Yeah driving with flip flops is dangerous for me at least , I can't do if for s#*#. I almost killed my self running about a half mile to the store, I just slipped on my shoes slipper style with the heel part crushed down instead over my heel and it somehow got wedged in the peddle almost wide open, it was one of the more scary driving moments in my life.
