Blasphemy???

Some guy that used to own an STI (now owns his 5th S2000 he claims) posted these up in a local subaru group and was bragging about them. Thought it would be cool to see others reactions/thoughts.

Thats the thread to the LS swapped subie.

Garage
The 1st picture is a photoshop.

The 2nd one is a real car but my understanding is that shortly after the owner of the car dropped it as a project.

ive dealt with this guy before. i not sure if he is a tn local, but he always showed up at the import alliance car meets in nashville tn. his 1st project was a ls1 into a civc. then i seen that he did it to a wrx. imo i cant stand when they put usdm motors into jdms. rx7's are famous for doing it.i dropped my 2 cents in one of his you tube videos about it,and then bashing started back and forth. he tried saying it was cheaper to do the ls1 swap and convert to rwd then to put a sti short block build with the full sti tranny swap.

The LS's in Miatas pull some nice times at auto-x.... Nice seeing a little girl's car and then they start it and it erases all that from your memory. LOL

It's kind of cool in a RX-7 or Miata, I remember hearing an FD RX-7 with an LS motor for the first time, I was like.. wait.. hold on.. that sound doesn't belong there. But I don't get it in a subaru. Why waste that awd drivetrain? Either way must be nice to have more money than sense !Cry!

I know the first one is photoshopped and not well. But at quick glance almost grabs your attention. Just thought I would share. Its not the first time I have seen the LS swapped subie, or any other car. Hell not too long ago in Europe (I believe) the dropped an RB25 or 26 into a subie. I do like being different, but when it becomes common place it loses its cool factor.

The LSx car blew the rear end out and he replaced it with on out of a 300zx, r-200 or something. Don't know if he still has it or finally gave up, but it made some decent power. Meh, I like to keep things as they are, but then again what does that matter.

Gentlemen, this phase seem appropriate when dealing with ppl like the above mentioned. "never argue with an idiot because an onlooker can't tell the difference"
