The big decision

should I buy this? 2006 Used Subaru Impreza WRX STI at Silverline Automotive Inc. in PORTLAND, OR, IID 6098245 I know I want to but is it something I should take serious? I planned on getting an STi as my daily driver and turning my wrx into a project car but 700hp!

I must say I do agree but it would only be a track car. like I said i want to turn my wrx into a track car or rally car not sure what yet but I know I wanna start racing it. I planned on getting a STi as my DD but damn 700hp already it would save me money alot of money.

You need to start thinking "why is it so cheap?"

I was told the team racing it got a new STi but i know what you mean everything on is perrin well mostly at least so you can see at least half the price is what it would cost in parts.

I can guarantee that thing doesn't have 700hp...it just doesn't have enough turbo

good point I took a better look at the pictures and noticed its not a rotated mount turbo so it couldn't possibly be big enough to push it to 700hp and I also noticed the exhaust looked tiny. I'm guessing it once was a 700hp beast then they took some of the good parts off. I'm gonna assume it had some huge brembo's and fatty tires cause those stockers just leave way to much room inside those wide fenders. It's also sitting way to high. Man you guys are awsome I knew I needed some sense talked into me. haha thank you for saving from a not so great decision.

It's def. a rotated setup, but still not worth it.

Garage
when you talk BHP extrapolations achieved on race gas, it doesn't take many mods to hit eyepopping numbers. You could probably hit 500bhp on a stock STi with the right gas and tuning. Those are just BS numbers though, so who cares.

04 STi 16G powered lagless fun

Meh, doubtful 500bhp is possible on the stock snail even with race gas. That still equates to 400ish to the wheels. No way.
