B9 Tribeca

I saw one today, they're a lot bigger than I thought, didn't realize they had 18in wheels. Not bad the interior was nice. yep. bye.

Yes they are very nice, I've only seen what they have on the Subaru site though. I don't get out much.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

I saw one a couple of weeks ago at a local dealership. Gorgeous interior - really liked that! The front end made me think of a Porsche Cayenne... that had been beaten to death with an ugly stick. Of the sport SUV's I can think of, only the Pontiac Aztec was uglier (IMO).

But I didn't like the Cayenne either (still don't) and Porsche has turned the company's fortunes around on its back. Me, I'd be all for a 2 door WRX STi wagon with about 300 hp and a big Peugeot 206 WRC style wing hanging off the roof. With what I'd want, they'd probably sell 5 of them in North America and go broke.

I saw a lady driving one and asked her if she liked it. She absolutly loved it.

As for the VW oil change... how do you do that??? I've been trying to figure out how to change my dad's 03 Jetta VR6, and I got this crazy looking filter that looks like an airfilter. I can't even find where the oil filter cartridge is or the drain plug!

hmm. i've only been working there about a month, the only vw im sure off is the passat...

on the jetta, remove that PITA udner engine cover and drain the plug....now vr6 i think has a set up where its just a filter...it has a reusable plastic housing, and you may or may not have a drain plug in the plastic filter housing as well....my best suggestion is to jsut take it to the dealer and have them do it, and maybe ask them to show you where the filter is and shit like that. also, know that since vw's have aluminum oil pans, its req'd that you put in a new plug every time you change the oil.

well i've officially changed my mind on the tribeca. after PDI'ing one today, i noticed that they are quick. the touch screen nav in the front is real nice and a secondary drop down dvd screen in the rear is a nice plus. depsite the styling, i think i like them.
