AWD differences

Hey guys. My buddy is looking at either purchasing a WRX or a 2.5RS but his only trouble is that there are some differences in the AWD systems. The WRX offers a limited slip rear end along with a locking center differential. While the 2.5RS does not. Will this difference in the AWD system be noticeable or not. If you guys can help me out here let me know.

I doubt you'll notice it if you aren't rallying it.

The WRX has a viscous type limited slip in the both the center and rear and an open differential in the front.
